Meet Our Superintendent

Welcome to the 2026–2027 school year! On behalf of the Board of Education and Delran Township Public Schools, I extend a warm welcome to all of our students, families, and staff members.
Our mission remains focused and firm: to prepare every student for college, career, and lifelong success. Through a rigorous curriculum, high-quality instruction, and personalized learning environments, we are dedicated to nurturing each child's unique academic, athletic, and artistic talents. To further support a focused, engaging classroom environment, we are proud to launch our new "Bell-to-Bell Phone-Free" initiative this year, empowering students to stay fully present and actively engaged in their learning.
As you visit our schools throughout the year, you will also notice several new faces among our leadership, faculty, and support staff—please join me in giving them a warm Delran Bear welcome!
Thanks to the hard work of our facilities and technology teams over the summer, our schools are ready to support top-tier learning and student life. At Delran High School, the Media Center and Library have been fully redesigned with modernized learning spaces, new furniture, and refreshed flooring. The High School kitchen and office area underwent thorough asbestos abatement, air quality testing, structural demolition, and brand-new flooring installations, while progress continues on our athletic stadium renovation plans. At Delran Middle School, facility improvements include a full roof replacement and new carpeting in the media center. Meanwhile, Delran Intermediate School received durable VCT flooring updates across key target areas and the main hallway.
The true strength of our district relies on a strong partnership between our schools, families, and dedicated PTO volunteers. We encourage open communication with teachers, school principals, and district leadership all year long. Thank you for your continued support and commitment to our students. Together, let us make the 2026–2027 school year our best one yet!
Sincerely,
Dr. Lisa Della Vecchia
Superintendent of Schools
